Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has not taken all the criticism around him regarding the T20 World Cup well and if reports are to be believed, he might take legal action for the same. According to a report in Geo News, citing sources, Babar is likely to go to the court against former cricketers and YouTubers who have accused him of misconduct.
Babar and his team were on the receiving end of criticism from former players and fans due to their T20 World Cup campaign. Having lost their first two matches to hosts United States of America and arch-rivals India, Pakistan bowed out even before the Super 8 stage.
According to the report, during Pakistan's campaign, a social media campaign was used to target Babar, which made him feel disheartened. Evidence related to statements made by YouTubers and former cricketers are being collected by PCB's legal department.

Babar, besides Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Shadab and Azam Khan are expected to leave on Saturday, June 22. After finishing as the runners-up in the 2022 T20 World Cup, Pakistan were atleast expected to qualify for the knockouts but had an exit from the group stage.
Pakistan finished their campaign with a three-wicket victory over Ireland in Florida on Sunday, June 16, a dead rubber after India and the USA, from Group A, advanced to the Super 8 stage.
