The board of 3M India has suggested a final dividend of 1,600% on each stock worth Rs 10. Furthermore, the board declared a special dividend of 5,250 percent on each share. According to the computations, the 160 percent final dividend translates into a payment of Rs 160, while the 5,250 percent special dividend results in a payout of Rs 525.

Overall, 3M India will pay a cash incentive or dividend of Rs 685 per stock to its shareholders. "The Board recommended a Final Dividend of Rs 160 and a Special Dividend of Rs 525 per equity share of Rs 10 each, for the financial year 2023-24," the company said in a exchange filing.

According to the BSE website, 3M India shares will trade ex-date on July 5 for a dividend of Rs 685. The final and special dividend of Rs 685 will be given to qualifying shareholders 30 days following the firm's AGM.

The record date for 3M India dividends is July 5. "The Board of Directors have fixed July 5, 2024 (Friday) as the Record Date for determining the entitlement of the shareholders for the payment of aforesaid Dividends", according to the BSE website.
