Government only started to talk about cost-of-living ‘this year’

Independent MP Dai Le says since her election, she has detected that cost-of-living has “been an issue”.

Ms Le told Sky News Australia that for the last 12 months, both the major parties have been “talking about something else”.

“They should’ve started to address it – the government in particular – as soon as they got elected.”
