Recently, actor and politician Pawan Kalyan made a visit to Delhi after he became the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The alliance of Telugu Desam Party, Bharatiya Janata Party and Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena formed the government after a comfortable victory in the recently concluded Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
Pawan Kalyan met top leaders of BJP and other National Democratic Alliance (NDA) constituents during his recent visit to Delhi. He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Janasena Chief met PM Modi with wife Anna Lezhneva and son Akira Nandan. Following the alliance’s victory in the AP elections, Akira has been accompanying his father at several political meetings, marking his public presence.
Known for his warm personable interactions with friends and followers, PM Modi took Akira close, hugged him and patted his shoulder, encouraging him to grow in life. This heartfelt interaction was captured in photos that quickly went viral on social media.
What caught the attention of social media was the simultaneous laughter from Pawan Kalyan, his wife Anna Lezhneva and Akira himself during the meeting with PM Modi. While the exact reason for their laughter remains unclear, speculation is rife that PM Narendra Modi may have made a light-hearted remark about Akira’s height.
This was the first time that fans got to catch a glimpse of Akira since his adolescence and they were left stunned by his towering height.
Meanwhile, Akira’s mother, Renu Desai, who shares custody of him and his sibling following her divorce from Pawan Kalyan, is undoubtedly happy to see her son thriving amid the celebrations as she also shared the photos of her son’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi from her handle. Renu Desai reportedly said that Akira called her after the visit and said that PM Modi had asked him whether he played basketball to attain his height.
Pawan Kalyan will next be seen in OG which is directed by Sujeeth. The film is slated for release on September 27.
