Actor Kamal Haasan recently met and appreciated the makers of the Asif Ali-Biju Menon starrer Thalavan, directed by Jis Joy. Director Jis Joy, Asif, producer Arun Narayan, and a couple of other core team members met Kamal at his office in Chennai.

Asif Ali took to social media to share a brief note expressing his gratitude to the veteran. He thanked Kamal for taking the time to watch the film and sharing thoughtful insights about it. "It's been a privilege to receive your feedback, and we're grateful for your support and recognition of our work," added Asif. Although Biju Menon couldn't join the team due to prior commitments, Kamal requested the team to convey his best wishes to him.

Thalavan, A Police Procedural

Thalavan is a police procedural that narrates the ego clash between two police officers of different ranks played by Asif Ali and Biju Menon.

The film has been Penned by Sharath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakkattu. The film also stars an ensemble cast including Dileesh Pothen, Anushree, Miya, Kottayam Nazeer, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Joji K John, Dinesh, Anuroop, Nandan Unni and Bilas, among others. Penned by Sharath Perumbavoor and Anand Thevarakkattu, it is bankrolled by Arun Narayan and Sijo Sebastian under the banner Arun Narayan Productions in association with London Studios. Thalavan's technical crew includes cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan, editor Sooraj E S and music director Deepak Dev.

Asif's Roster Of Projects

Asif Ali has a slew of projects lined up. He recently wrapped up shooting for Adios Amigo, directed by debutant Nahas Nazar. He is gearing up to rejoin Rohit VS' Tiki Taka, while Sethu Nath Padmakumar’s Abhyanthara Kuttavali and Arfaz Ayub’s Level Cross are some of the actor's other projects in different stages of production. He has also signed on The Priest director Jofin T Chacko's next, which recently went on the floors.
