Telugu superstar Nagarjuna came under fire when his bouncer pushed a differently-abled person at the Mumbai airport, when the fan tried to engage with the Telugu star. Nagarjuna, who was in the city along with Dhanush for the film Kubera, later apologised in a tweet for the unfortunate incident. Even before the heat of the incident has subsided, another video from the sets of Kubera has gone viral online where the bodyguard of Dhanush is seen pushing away fans.
In the video, Dhanush is seen walking towards the beach from his caravan, and fans were quick to take pictures and videos of the actor. However, the bodyguards of the actor stepped in and pushed them away, which has received criticism online. A fan asked why Dhanush was shooting in the public space and asked him to stay indoors.

This is not the first time a Tamil celebrity received flak for such behaviour. Actor Sivakumar, father of Suriya and Karthi, once pushed away the cellphone of a fan who tried to take a selfie without his permission. The incident was widely discussed and Sivakumar was called arrogant. Ajith Kumar has also faced criticism for taking away the phone of a fan who attempted to take a photo of the star.
Meanwhile, the shoot of Kubera is currently going on in Mumbai. Dhanush and Nagarajuna have teamed up for the film for the first time, which is directed by acclaimed Telugu director Shekhar Kammula. The film has been shot at various places across the country. The film earlier ran into trouble when the crew was banned from shooting in Tirupati. Now, the two incidents with fans have put the film in the limelight again.
Other than Dhanush and Nagarjuna, the film also has Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in important roles. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for the film, which is expected to be released in 2025.
Meanwhile, Dhanush's directorial venture Raayan, a gangster drama, set in North Chennai will be released on July 26. The film stars SJ Suryah, Sandeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
