The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (short for Fan Edition) has seen a major price drop from its initial price tag of ₹59,999, making its premium features even more affordable.

The smartphone, launched in October last year, currently retails for ₹35,999 on Flipkart. The e-commerce platform is offering an exchange bonus of up to ₹33,000 on the device. However, the actual discount may vary depending on the model and the condition of the smartphone that you want to trade.

However, the exchange offers would be better on third-party platforms like Cashify where you could get a higher value for your current device, if you planning to trade that is.

For users who hold a Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card, there is also an additional 10% off.

Alternatively, the device is available for ₹36,999 on Samsung’s official website. Since, Samsung partners with Cashify on its exchange offer, it is likely to give a better deal on the trade.

For example, when I list my old Galaxy S21+ for trade-in on Flipkart, it offers me a maximum of ₹9,450 but when I list the same device on Samsung, I get a quote of ₹20,140, bringing the cost of the Galaxy S23 FE to under Rs 17,000. Tell me that isn’t a bargain. The Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card offer applies here as well, with an extra 7% off for students.

Throw in an extra ₹699 and you can get up to 70% resale value with Samsung’s Assured Buyback, which is valid for a year.

But the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is a great smartphone at ₹36,000 as well. Here is why.

The device brings most of the flagship features of the Galaxy S23 series at a very affordable price. It runs on Samsung’s Exynos 2200 processor with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

It sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60-120 Hz refresh rate. The camera module consists of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens and an 8MP telephoto shooter. The selfie camera on the front is a 10MP sensor.
