Laapataa Ladies star Nitanshi Goel expresses her desire to become the next lady Shah Rukh Khan
Nitanshi Goel, who charmed audiences as Phool in Kiran Rao's directorial Laapataa Ladies, recently expressed her ambition to become the next lady Shah Rukh Khan and shared her deep admiration for the superstar.
During an appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, Nitanshi discussed her future plans, saying, "Right now, I say this everywhere that in the next 5-6 years, however long it takes, I want to be the next Lady Shah Rukh Khan. The way he speaks, his interviews, the way he has won everyone's heart, I also want to won everyone's heart like him."
In the same interview, Nitanshi also reminisced about her first-ever meeting with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. She revealed that her first ad in Mumbai was with Big B, and she fondly recalled how Amitabh himself initiated a conversation with her. He even took the time to click a selfie with each child present once the shoot wrapped up.
"He came to me himself and said, ‘Let's rehearse, dear.' I said, ‘Yes, yes.' And he got down on his knees. I was sitting on a chair, and he knelt down to match his height with mine. He did the whole rehearsal with me and everything. And he was like, ‘This girl is amazing. She gives such cute expressions.' I was so happy just because Amitabh Bachchan sir liked my acting. This is great," Nitanshi recounted.
Laapataa Ladies tells the story of the misadventures of two young brides who get lost from the same train, offering a mix of humor and heartwarming moments. Nitanshi Goel's performance as Phool has been widely appreciated, further cementing her place in the industry.
