Jyotika is a working mother who manages her career and her home perfectly. A doting mother and a successful actress, the star has now spoken about how her husband Suriya is as a father. In an exclusive interview with Zoom as a part of the series 'Letters To My Dad", Jyotika has called Suriya a ‘hundred on hundred dad.
Suriya and Jyotika have two kids together - a daughter (Diya; born 2007) and a son (Dev; born 2010). The actor duo are doting parents to the teens and often vacation as a close-knit family. Speaking with Zoom in the father's day special series, Jyotika talked about Suriya always giving time to their children.

When asked how is Suriya as a father, Jyotika was all praises for her husband. She says, “He is hundred on hundred. He is wonderful. He makes time.”

Women choose to stay back home and take care of the home front, which I think is the bigger task than going out and earning, since I have done both. I think men have to give time and Suriya gives time to the kids”.
Jyotika on Suriya’s involvement in the kids’ lives
Talking about family time, Jyotika says that Suriya and her never miss any of the vacations. They put a list of dates out, when its the children’s holidays and do not take up any work during that time. Suriya makes it a point to never miss these vacations. She adds, “All their school e-mails are directed to his phone. When I am at shoots, he is also giving out the menu...like... what to cook. So, he is a great dad.”

Talking about her home and the roles they play, the Shaitaan actress says, “There is no difference in mom and dad. I am both to them and he is both to them. The mom is always the tough cop, but as our kids are teenagers now, both of us are.”
