Transfer: Dele-Bashiru to join Lazio on loan
Nigeria midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru is expected to complete a loan move to Serie A club Lazio for the 2024–25 season.
According to Sky Sports Italia, Lazio and Turkish club Hatayspor have agreed on the transfer fee.
Lazio will pay an initial €2 million as a loan fee for Dele-Bashiru.
The Eagles will pay another €4 million when he moves to the club permanently next summer.
The 23-year-old only moved to Hatayspor on a free transfer last summer after ending his three-year stay at Sheffield Wednesday.
Dele-Bashiru made 39 appearances in the 2013–24 season, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.
He also has one goal in two senior caps for Nigeria and was linked with Napoli last year.
