Highlights! Pyfer Faceplants ‘Power Bar’ With Vicious KO
Joe Pyfer returned to the middleweight win column earlier tonight (Sat., June 29, 2024) at UFC 303 LIVE on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, stopping middleweight veteran Marc-Andre Barriault with a nasty first-round knockout (punches).
Pyfer came into this fight off a main event loss to Jack Hermansson back in February. He was a pretty sizeable favorite to take care of business, but Barriault is a savvy veteran who has proven to be a durable threat inside of the Octagon. It was up to Pyfer to impose his will and delivery the goods as advertised.
Luckily for Pyfer, he was able to find his range early and started to get through with crisp punches. Barriault was stung pretty badly as he was backed along the cage. That’s when “Bodybagz” move in for a vicious combination ending with a right hand behind the ear. Barriault fell to the canvas and left himself in a position for Pyfer to land another right hand. “Power Bar” depleted and faceplanted onto the Octagon.
