LeBron James plans to opt out of his $51.4million player option for next season with the LA Lakers, according to reports.
The Athletic's Shams Charania claims LeBron will instead return to the Lakers on a new contract in the 2024-24 season.
The news comes just two days after his son, Bronny, joined him in LA after being picked by the team in the second round of the NBA Draft.
