Draymond Green Concerned For Knicks' Future
Trading for Mikal Bridges was more or less the New York Knicks telling other teams that they are going all in and going for the title this season.
On a recent episode of "The Draymond Green Show", the Golden State Warriors' forward gave his thoughts on the Knicks' big move. While he does think that Bridges is a good fit for New York, he questions what it means for the future of the team.

"The Knicks are in a space where they're going for it, and I respect it, I think you got to go for it at some point,” Green said. "But what just happened with the trade was that you know if this doesn't work in 2 to 3 years, the Knicks will be rebuilding again because they traded all their picks away, and then they'll be trying to trade those guys, get picks back and that's kind of how it all plays out."
While it might be daunting how much the Knicks gave up to get Bridges, having a talent like him could prove to be worth it.
The former Villanova Wildcat averaged just under 20 points per game this past season, and he did so while shooting some solid percentages from the field and from beyond the arc.
However, it is his defense that makes him a hand-in-glove fit for the scheme of Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau. The team has gone all in for the championship, and Bridges will be looking to help them win their first title since 1973.
