What happened at Fred Omondi's burial?
The funeral attended top personalities in the entertainment industry, including Awinja, 2mbili, YY, Amber Ray and Kennedy Rapudo.
The politicians in attendance included former prime minister Raila Odinga and Governor James Orengo of Siaya.
Footage from the funeral showed the moment Raila brought things to a standstill by arriving to pay his final respects in a helicopter.
Raila removed his cap while viewing Fred’s body, before waving his hand in the air in his signature style.
When he took to the dais, the politician broke into a song as the mourners joined him.
“Nikiitwa ntaitika, kutumikia waafrika.
Kwenye vita vya moto, twapambana kama mashujaa," Raila sang.
The move amused the mourners, including Eric Omondi who was seen smiling next to his partner.
Who is Fred Omondi's baby mama?
Rose Achieng' the mother of Fred's child, said she was afraid to visit his home because she did not know how they would receive her.
However, she got a warm welcome at the home.
She revealed that she and Fred's daughter was two years old, and her name was Kyla Omondi.
Fred's baby mama revealed they met during a wedding event and hit it off after exchanging contacts.
She also said that Fred was the first to shave Kyla's hair, according to Luo customs.
