2 Texas women reported missing in Mexico after crossing into Nuevo Laredo, FBI says

Jessica Garcia Rojo, and her mother, Juana Marcela Rojo, crossed into Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico from Laredo, Texas on May 15, the FBI said.

LAREDO, Texas — Two Texas women have been reported missing after crossing over into Mexico in mid-May, according to the FBI.

According to the FBI San Antonio Division, Laredo Resident Agency Office, Jessica Garcia Rojo, and her mother, Juana Marcela Rojo, crossed into Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico from  Laredo, Texas.

Their last known location was near Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Mexico at 9 p.m. on May 15. The FBI said they were later reported missing by a relative on May 28.

The two women were in a white Dodge Caravan with New Mexico license plates, 609 XBC.

Jessica has brown hair, brown eyes and is 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 158 pounds. Juana is 5 feet 1 inch tall, approximately 210 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Jessica is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, while Juana speaks primarily Spanish.

Although the women's whereabouts are unknown, investigators believe they are still in Mexico.
