Grand Ole Opry entry makes T. Graham Brown 'cry like a baby'
That's the biggest thing that's ever happened to me and Sheila. I've been singing for a living for 51 years. I've been going out to the Opry for 40 years and I think I've got about 400 appearances out there. And finally, a couple of months ago, Vince Gill asked me if I'd like to be a member, and I just cried like a baby. It was. So it was something I just so wanted, you know, for my whole career and to be. That's a pretty exclusive fraternity over there. You know, there's not many members of the Grand Ole Opry in history. And then just to be one of them, it's just great. It's like the I've won all the awards and all that stuff, but being a member of the Grand Ole Opry is the number one career achievement for me.
