Jets extend qualifying offers to five players
Cole Perfetti was among five pending restricted free agents who received qualifying offers from the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
Perfetti had 38 points (19 goals and 19 assists) in 71 games this past season.
He only made one appearance during the playoffs as the Jets fell to the Colorado Avalanche in five games during the first round.
The 22-year-old from Whitby, Ont., was drafted 10th overall by the Jets in 2020.

The Jets also extended qualifying offers to forward David Gustafsson plus defencemen Ville Heinola, Simon Lundmark and Logan Stanley.
Gustafsson had three goals and seven points in 39 games with the Jets.
Stanley registered one goal and one assist in 25 games during the regular season and added an assist in three playoff contests.
Both Heinola and Lundmark spent the season with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
Goaltender Oskari Salminen and defenceman Artemi Kniaze did not receive qualifying offers. Salminen split the season between the Moose and ECHL’s Norfolk Admirals while Kniaze played with the Moose and KHL’s Kazan Ak-Bars.
