John Daly stars in bizarre commercial for Donald Trump's $60 'God Bless the USA bible': 'I know one thing: we're born and we're gonna die'

In a truly bizarre commercial, ex-PGA Tour golfer John Daly is seen hawking the $60 bibles that have been promoted by former President Donald Trump.
Sitting alongside American country musician Lee Greenwood, Daly is seen promoting the 'God Bless the USA Bible' in a promo on his Instagram page.
Greenwood opens the commercial by touting it as a discussion on 'faith in America' before Daly tries promoting the book.
'I believe in the military, I believe in God, I believe in Jesus Christ,' Daly begins. 'I'm not one of these churchgoers but you really don't need to go to church to believe in our Father.
'I pray all the time - you know, I'm a golfer and people go "John Daly prays?" Yeah I do because I believe in God.

Daly has been a longtime supporter of the 45th president, endorsing him in the past
'I know one thing: we're born and we're gonna die. Please get your faith back, this country needs our faith back.
'Let's get God and faith back in our families, our communities. Let's not keep going where we're going.
'I pray for others, I could care less about me, I'd rather pray for others. But hey, give back to Jesus and God.'
The God Bless the USA bible was a version of the King James Bible first published back in May of 2021 by Greenwood to commemorate the September 11 attacks.
What separates this bible from others is that it includes the US Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and the pledge of allegiance - as well as the chorus of Greenwood's hit song 'God Bless the USA' in his handwriting.
It went relatively under the radar until 2024 - when former President Trump promoted the latest edition of the book.
Daly has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump in the past - endorsing him for president when he's been a candidate in 2016 and again in 2020.
