Ambati Rayudu Highlights Luck Factor And Makes Massive Prediction On India's Fate In T20 World Cup
ambati rayudu highlights luck factor and makes massive prediction on india's fate in t20 world cup
Former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu has backed Rohit Sharma-led India to succeed in the T20 World Cup 2024. India will take on England at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on June 27. The team reached the semifinal undefeated, beating tournament favourites like Pakistan and Australia. Rayudu, who watched the Indian team practice ahead of the semifinal against England, was delighted with the positive atmosphere within the team. Rayudu highlighted the fearless cricket team India has played under Rohit Sharma and said that while luck has deserted India in ICC events, it will favour the team this year due to their selfless approach.
"There's a brilliant atmosphere in the Indian team. Everyone is quiet and composed. I think they are brilliantly prepared. Rohit has been calm as well and knows his role as well as that of others in the team. Whatever is controllable, they are controlling it brilliantly. The uncontrollable is a luck which of course they will need. But I feel luck will favour India because of their selfless cricket," said Ambati Rayudu on Star Sports.
Ambati Rayudu also watched Virat Kohli closely during practice and backed the veteran to return to form soon. Virat has been ordinary in the T20 World Cup, scoring just 66 runs in six matches, with a couple of ducks to his name. Rayudu said it is just a matter of time before Kohli scores big in the T20 World Cup.

"The way he (Kohli) was hitting the ball and reading the length of the bowlers, especially the spinners, it just feels like a matter of time before he gets a big score. Just because he didn't score runs doesn't mean he is not in form. He just needs luck to go his way and I think the prayers of billions will make it happen," Rayudu added.
