Zakir Khan's comedy series is replacing The Kapil Sharma Show after all. Times Now/ Telly Talk India had earlier reported that his show was shelved due to a lot of back-and-forth between him and the channel. We had written that both the sides could not agree upon the creatives and certain dynamics of the show's flow and content. However, it is now evident that Zakir and the makers have sorted out their differences. A teaser of the comedian's show titled Aapka Apna Zakir has been released today, June 29, 2024.

Aapka Apna Zakir intends to take the time slot of Kapil's show as the latter has ventured into Netflix with The Great India Kapil Show. India’s Sakht Launda, comedian Zakir Khan will soon takeover your television screens. His new show promises to offer an enthralling experience that combines laughter, shaayari, and zindagi ke ‘nuskhe’ into one compelling package.

Zakir Khan is a comedian, poet and actor. In 2012, he rose to popularity by winning Comedy Central. He has also been a part of a news comedy show, On Air. He has released four hour-length standup specials: Haq Se Single (2017), Kaksha Gyarvi (2018), Tathastu (2022) and Mannpasand (2023) on OTT.
Zakir Khan wrote and played the protagonist in the web series Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare.
