True or AI? Did Abraham Lincoln's wax statue melt?
According to local media, a heatwave hit the US causing the melting of the wax statue of the ex-president's six-foot-tall wax statue.
In detail, the wax statue's head of the country’s 16th president Abraham Lincoln which was placed outside an elementary school in Washington DC melted down due to high temperatures.
The wax statue was made by artist Sandy Williams IV and it was installed on the historic site of Camp Barker, which was once a Civil War-era refugee camp that housed former slaves and those freed, in February on the grounds of Garrison Elementary School, according to the BBC reported.
The picture was first shared by X user Kirk A Bado who wrote: "Maybe a wax Lincoln sculpture wasn’t the best idea during DC’s first week of summer heat."
