Bills' Dalton Kincaid Already Reaching Top-10 Status in Latest Rankings
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid emerged in 2023 as a genuine offensive weapon in his first NFL season, hauling in 73 catches for 673 yards and two touchdowns.
Such were his performances that fellow tight end Dawson Knox was left in his wake and was made an afterthought. Kincaid had one of the best rookie tight end seasons last year, second only to Detroit Lions' Sam LaPorta.

But when ranked among all tight ends in football by CBS Sports, where does Kincaid find himself? In what isn't a surprise at all, he lands at No. 10, one spot ahead of Jacksonville Jaguar Evan Ingram.
"Kincaid is somewhat similar to Engram, but a) he's younger; b) he got his production as a rookie playing only 63% of snaps; and c) he's probably going to be Josh Allen's top pass-catcher in 2024," CBS Sports writes. "So while his blocking leaves a lot to be desired and he is basically a large slot receiver, there's a place for him in our top 10 thanks to the athletic profile and expected role."
In 2024, there is a real thought that Kincaid could explode and become one of the best tight ends in football. With Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis no longer with the team and a group of receivers looking to prove themselves and restart their NFL careers (rookie Keon Coleman aside), Kincaid could become Josh Allen's No. 1 target.
Last season, among all tight ends, Kincaid ranked 10th in yards, seventh in receptions, 14th in yards, and 21st in touchdowns. If he is to elevate himself even high among his fellow tight ends, he needs to find the endzone more.
With Buffalo's current weapons and the state of uncertainty surrounding them, Kincaid could see an uptick in performance.
If he continues on the trajectory he set in 2023 and finds the endzone consistently, Kincaid will become Allen's best offensive weapon and move up the list of the NFL's best tight ends in 2024.
