The challenge, originating from a popular song by Ugandan artist Hoozambe, has taken social media by storm, with many joining in.

Thousands of social media users have posted videos of themselves performing catchy dance moves.

Meanwhile, in Kenya, youths are engaged in protests and demonstrations demanding better governance and economic reforms.

The stark contrast between the two nations' current focus did not escape the comedian's eye.

"Gen Zs wa Kenya wako busy kupigania nchi yao, Waganda wako busy na Hozambie . Banange!! Nani alituroga," he wrote on Facebook.

Reached for comment, the humorist expressed his admiration at the zeal showcased by Kenyans towards a better country.

"Kenya is trending everywhere. I like how Kenyans no longer fear the police," he told TUKO.co.ke.

His remarks have sparked a lively debate online, with netizens from both countries weighing in.

Some Ugandans defended the challenge as a source of joy and national pride in difficult times, while others appreciated Brian's comedic perspective.

Kenyan netizens trooped to the comments section to emphasize the seriousness of their protests.
