CNN African Correspondent Larry Madowo has had a long day covering the protests against the anti-Finance Bill 2024 on Tuesday, June 25.
Madowo has been lauded for doing a commendable job as far as covering protests is concerned.
He captured many moments of police brutality and harassment during the protests.
He had cut short his holiday in Italy to cover the protests in his country.
While reporting in Nairobi CBD, the CNN journalist spotted former US president Barack Obama's half-sister Auma, who was also teargassed and spoke to her.
Madowo tweeted after midnight that he had just had his first meal of the day.
"Just had my first meal of the day," the media personality wrote.
His post attracted Kenyans' appreciation and concern for safety.
