Beauty and the Geek fans can get excited as Channel Nine has confirmed the 2022 season will premiere on Sunday, July 17, at 7pm.
Sophie Monk is back hosting the feel-good dating show which will see 10 new beauties and 10 new geeks eager to find love.
There will be a diverse range of contestants this year, including a professional mermaid, a trainspotter, crypto trader and martial arts ninja.

Popular challenges, including the geeks’ makeovers, will return, as well as gladiator-style battles and a cosplay event.
A new life-swap challenge will also debut, and the trailer hints a beauty will have to move into her geek partner’s sharehouse.
Sophie, 42, promises sparks will fly this season, saying: ‘Australia is going to fall in love with our new beauties and geeks, who are the most adorable people in the world.’

‘And trust me, there are some major sparks flying around this season. It will be the sweetest thing you’ll ever see.’
The new trailer, released last week, includes a heart-warming moment in which one geek admits to his beauty he has never been kissed.
The promo hints he may finally get his first kiss on national television.

Beauty and the Geek returned to Aussie screens last year after a seven-year hiatus, and Sophie couldn’t be happier.
‘I’ve never felt so passionate about a reality show and I’m so excited for the new season to start,’ she said.
‘This is like no other show I’ve ever seen, and I love being a part of it. Not only does it make you laugh your a**e off, it will also make you cry.’
