Willie Nelson not feeling well, will take time off current tour
The 91-year-old entertainer is getting some rest while the Outlaw Music Festival carries on.
HOUSTON — Willie Nelson will take some time off the Outlaw Music Festival due to doctor’s orders, according to a post on social media.
The news was posted on the country music icon’s accounts Friday. According to the posts, he’s expected to join the tour again next week. It didn’t give any specifics about what the 91-year-old entertainer’s illness is.
The tour, which includes Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Allison Krauss and Celissa is scheduled for Alpharetta, Georgia, Friday night, followed by stops in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, Raleigh, North Carolina on Monday, Virginia Beach on Wednesday and Syracuse, New York next Friday.
