‘Flip-flopping’: Opposition all about the politics ‘not about the national interest’
Assistant Trade Minister Tim Ayres has slammed the Opposition, saying they are “not serious” on their questions after they criticised the Prime Minister for revealing he will not be attending NATO.
“It is not a serious position – if the Prime Minister went, they’d criticise him for going, when he’s not able to attend, or an alternative attendee is selected, they criticise him for not attending,” Mr Ayres told Sky News Australia.

“This is a consequential time for Australia and foreign affairs, defence, and security terms.
“We have got an Opposition that is just flip-flopping around the place, all about the politics, not about the national interest.”
