Should Chiefs Be Threatened by Chargers?
The Los Angeles Chargers got a new coach this offseason, and they have become more of a threat as a result.
In a recent article by Bleacher Report's Maurice Moton, he talks about some of the top storylines that could determine the winner of each division in the NFL. In the AFC West, he thinks that Jim Harbaugh could make the Chargers a threat to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Should Chiefs Be Threatened by Chargers?
"The Chargers offense has question marks with Alt moving to the right side and big cleats to fill at wide receiver," Moton writes. "Yet Harbaugh's track record suggests that this team could be the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West this year."
Harbaugh made it to Super Bowl XLVII as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, but he ultimately lost to his brother John and his Baltimore Ravens.
With that being said, the 49ers had a 6-10 record before Harbaugh came to be their head coach. In his first season with the team, he led them to the Super Bowl with a 13-3 record, which just goes to show how good of a coach he is.
He will be looking to do that same thing with a Chargers team who has underperformed the last several seasons. No matter what their record was last season, the Chiefs should not underestimate Harbaugh and the Chargers.
