Want to win a pair of SQ air tickets to Paris? Be at your bouncing best at Jewel Changi Airport
SINGAPORE - Visitors to Jewel Changi Airport can soon vie to win a pair of economy class return tickets to Paris on Singapore Airlines if they show their superiority on its bouncing net.
The challenge is part of Jewel’s fifth anniversary celebrations, it said in a statement on July 2. France is the birthplace of bouncing net.
To win the tickets, sponsored by Mastercard, visitors must participate in the mall’s bouncing net challenge, to be held at the Canopy Park on July 27.
The challenge is limited to 70 slots and opens for registration on July 2. It costs $20.90 and is open to visitors who are between 16 and 59 years.
There are two qualifying rounds where contestants will bounce for 30 minutes each time.
The final round will see contestants bounce for another 30 minutes, and the last person bouncing in that round will be crowned the winner, who will win the air tickets.
The first and second-runner ups will receive $1,000 Jewel vouchers and $500 Jewel vouchers, respectively.
Current overall visitor numbers at Jewel have been close to pre-Covid-19 levels, the mall said in April.
Before the pandemic, it had as many as 300,000 visitors daily.
The 14,000 sqm Canopy Park at the mall’s top floor drew in 12 per cent more visitors compared with the previous financial year as well, with the attraction making 35 per cent more in ticket sales.
