ALBAWABA- In a tense development, Turkish forces in northern Syria opened fire on demonstrators, seriously wounding one person. This incident occurred amid the arrival of Turkish military reinforcements and the flight of a Bayraktar TB-2 UCAV aircraft over the Syrian border.
Protests erupted in several areas, including Al-Bab, Jarabulus, Azaz, Bab Al-Salama, Kafr Jannah, Afrin in Idlib, and Al-Atareb in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Demonstrators attacked Turkish headquarters and outposts, prompting the Turkish army to use live ammunition, resulting in injuries to several militants in Afrin.
In response, Turkish authorities cut off Turkish cellular networks and the internet in the Aleppo countryside, closed the Al-Rai and Al-Salam crossings, and allowed only the return of Turkish trucks.
Notably, last night, dozens of Turks destroyed Syrian refugees' vehicles with bulldozers and ransacked many of their homes following rumors of a Syrian refugee in Turkey molesting another Syrian minor.
