NBA Icon Muggsy Bogues Shares Strong Take About Angel Reese

NBA legend Muggsy Bogues couldn't be prouder of his fellow Baltimore native and current Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.

The former LSU star is off to a sensational start in her WNBA career, currently averaging a double-double of 13.5 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. Reese recently made history as well after tying Candace Parker's record for most consecutive double-doubles in a season with nine.

With her consistent dominant display, Reese has established herself as one of the frontrunners for the Rookie of the Year award along with Indiana Fever sharpshooter Caitlin Clark. Even better, however, the Sky found themselves competing for the top eight seeds with the youngster leading the way.

As Reese continues to impress, Bogues had nothing but great things to say about the Sky rising star. In a recent interview on Glenn Clark Radio, the former Charlotte Hornets guard particularly heaped praises on Reese's swag.

"That's the B-more swag, that can't be taught. Something we're born and bred with...I am so proud of her and all the she's accomplished and what she's done for the game," Bogues shared.

Angel Reese definitely deserves all the credit and recognition she's getting. Before making the jump to the WNBA, there were plenty of concerns about how her game would translate into the pros. Sure enough, the Chi Barbie erased all those doubts quickly.

Muggsy Bogues is clearly a big fan of Reese and everything she's doing. With that being said, don't be surprised to see him talk about the Reese more often in the next couple of months.
