Flick confident he can get the best out of Felix at Barca

New Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is said to be “convinced” he can get best out of Joao Felix if he stays at the club.

The Catalans are said to be keen on keeping hold of the Atletico loanee, while Felix has already said he wants to keep playing for Barcelona.

Diario Sport are now reporting that Flick “believes he can get a great performance” out of the Portugal international.

The former Germany manager is said to have faith in Felix’s talents and thinks he need the confidence of his coach to produce his best football.

Felix started off brightly at Barcelona last season but fizzled out as the campaign wore on and was used mainly as a substitute in the latter stages of the campaign.

Of course Barcelona still need to agree a deal, with Atletico chief Enrique Cerezo stating recently he’s yet to hear from the Catalan giants this summer about Felix.
