Seahawks players share their favorite guilty pleasure song

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more quiet time of the year on the NFL calendar than the end of June. While there's not much going on as far as official transactions or practices go, these days teams know how to keep their fans hooked 365 days a year with content.

The Seattle Seahawks are no exception to that rule, and their social team is as good as any in the business. Here's a clip of several players volunteering what their favorite guilty pleasure songs are. Nobody took to it more than defensive end/outside linebacker Dre'Mont Jones. Watch.

Fortunately, Jones is on a lucractive three-year contract and won't have to literally sing for his supper anytime soon. The deal he signed last offseason is worth a total of $51 million, but the team recently made a change to it. Seattle restructured part of Jones' deal, which ended up saving them $7.4 million in salary cap room for the 2024 season. What they do with that extra dough remains to be seen, but they do appear to have needs at edge, center and inside linebacker given injuries to starting linebackers Jerome Baker and Tyrel Dodson.

The restructure coincides with a change of position for Jones, who had been playing as an interior defensive lineman until the Seahawks traded for Leonard Williams mid-season. After that, Jones moved out to the edge and saw his pass-rushing production bump. Encouraged by that growth, the team is moving Jones out to the edge full time this year. Time will tell where Jones is in the rotation relative to projected starters Uchenna Nwosu and Boye Mafe and backups like Darrell Taylor and Derick Hall.
