Here's how
Step 1
Clear area of weeds and debris, and roughly level with a rake. Measure about 60cm from wall, then mark path with spray paint.
Step 2
In wheelbarrow, mix sand and cement in a 4:1 ratio. Add water and blend to create a relatively stiff mix. Lay a bed of mortar for 3 pavers using a trowel.
Step 3
Cut Bricktor strips to length and push into mortar. (Only use mesh for pavers that butt against each other.)
Step 4
Lay 3 pavers in a row, checking for level and tapping down with a rubber mallet. Lay single pavers, slightly staggered, with a 120mm gap in between.
Step 5
Haunch in paver edges with mortar on a 45° angle. Sponge slabs clean.
Step 6
Add compost and work into soil.
Step 7
Dig holes, position plants, backfill and water in.
Step 8
Plant between slabs, then spread mulch over soil.
