Rockets Free Agency: Devin Booker, Zion Williamson, Donovan Mitchell Among Targets
The Houston Rockets are just a few days away from the start of free agency, which will open the floodgates across the league for new transactions.
The Rockets have positioned themselves to be one of the more aggressive teams on the open market, hoping to get back to the playoffs this season after four years of absence.

According to The Athletic insiders Anthony Slater and Sam Amick, the Rockets have their eye on some top players.
“So, who are the Rockets interested in as franchise centerpiece material? League sources say that Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell (who is 27 and widely expected to sign an extension with the Cavs soon), the Suns’ Devin Booker (also 27) and New Orleans’ Zion Williamson (23) would all fit the bill. The only problem, of course, is that none of them are expected to be available anytime soon," The Athletic writes.
The Rockets are big-game hunting, and their pick swap with the Brooklyn Nets earlier in the week for the Phoenix Suns' future draft picks signals that.
Houston may not get the deal it wants this offseason, but the team is keeping an eye to make a move that will get them to the next level.
The Rockets have a slew of young prospects and future draft picks to make a trade, but they should wait for the right player to come around who fits their team and can get Houston into the championship conversation.
