Four-star EDGE and Alabama target Justin Hill announces commitment date
As the recruiting trail continues to stay hot this offseason, Kalen DeBoer is on the right path to prove he can, in fact, recruit within the SEC.
After taking the job, DeBoer was met with instant and harsh criticism about his lack of ties to the deep south, and that this fact would change the landscape of Alabama's historic track record in the recruiting realm.
However, the trend over the last few weeks is something fans and expertes cannot ignore. Kalen DeBoer has made tremendous strides in recruiting, as Alabama's 2025 class continues to become more and more elite.

As the recruiting classes are continuing to improve day by day, Alabama could very well add more talent to next years class.
Four-star edge rusher Justin Hill has reportedly set a date where he will announce his college commitment. The report was posted on X by Hayes Fawcett of On3.
There are four teams that Hill will choose from. Alabama, USC, Oregon, and Ohio State.
Hill is listed at 6-foot-3 and 220-pounds. He is very agile on his feet, and his quickness gives him the edge against all offensive lineman he opposes. His ability to get in the backfield quickly marks him as a dangerous rusher, and his ability to perform clean tackles allows for more tackle-for-loss opportunities. Hill also competes in track and field, so his quickness to the ball contributes from all the track and field aspect. He is flexible at the linebacker position, allowing him to play any position. But edge rusher is his best position on the defensive side of the ball. You can watch his junior year highlights here.
Adding this prospect will undoubtedly add to Alabama's 2025 class, and adding a key defensive position will certainly help on that side of the ball.
