Transfer: Atalanta confirm Saudi offer for Lookman

Atalanta have revealed they have received formal offer from Saudi Arabia Professional Football League club, Al Ittihad for Ademola Lookman.

Atalanta, according the Italian news outlet, TuttoMercatoWeb, will discuss the bid with Lookman.

“We have received an official offer (for Lookman) from Al Ittihad,” the Italian club were quoted as saying.

“We will see what’s best for the player and discuss it with the club.”

The 26-year-old was one of the key performers for Atalanta last season.

The winger scored a hat-trick in La Dea’s UEFA Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen.

The former Leicester City star was named Atalanta’s Player of the Season on Thursday.

He scored 17 goals and made 10 assists in all competitions for Gian Piero Gasperini’s last season.
