7 in 10 Canadians say they feel the country is ‘broken’: poll
So as Canada Day approaches, a new survey shows Canadian pride is on the decline. And Epsilon's poll, done exclusively for Global News, reveals about 1/3 of Canadians are less likely to be proud of their Canadian identity in comparison to five years ago. On the contrary, only 16% of the people surveyed said they are more likely to find pride. The poll shows almost 1/3 of Canadians don't plan to attend a Canada Day event or display Canadian flags around the holiday. The survey also finds 7 in 10 Canadians agree with Conservative Leader Pierre Polyev that Canada is broken.
