‘Very difficult’ for Biden or Trump to ‘bounce back’ if they do something stunningly bad
Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says it will be “very difficult” for Joe Biden or Donald Trump to “bounce back” if they do something stunningly bad.
President of the United States Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump are in Atlanta for the first of two presidential debates before the November 5 election.
The debate on Thursday (US time) comes as presumptive Republican nominee Trump and the incumbent President are tied in the polls.
“If Donald Trump does something stunningly bad, or if Joe Biden looks like he’s not mentally up to the job, it could be very, very difficult for either of the gentlemen to bounce back,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News Australia.
