This Saturday, June 29, thousands of people are expected to descend upon the capital city for the annual Pride parade.

The event aims to increase public awareness of LGBTQ+ concerns. Each year, London's Pride festivities have a unique theme that aims to commemorate, empower, and inspire the LGBTQ+ community that gives the city its vitality. The theme for 2024 is "We Are Everywhere", which honours the influence and contributions that local communities have made to the nation's capital.

What is the route for the pride parade in London?

It begins at Hyde Park Corner and ends at Whitehall Place after passing through Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket, Pall Mall, and Trafalgar Square.

Although you may watch the parade from any point along its path, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Haymarket, and Whitehall will offer some of the greatest views.

Or you can apply to take part in the parade via here.

London buses and trains will be running as normal but expect large crowds.

What time does the London Pride Parade start?

The parade will begin at Hyde Park Corner at 12pm.

The Haymarket grandstand is scheduled to open at 11am, but please be aware that these are tentative times.
