DNB stakeholders now have option to exit and form second 5G network — Maxis
KUALA LUMPUR (June 28): Telcos who take up stake in Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB) will now have the option to exit DNB by selling their stake to those who chose to remain in DNB.
Those who leave may then form an entity to provide the second 5G network or choose not to participate in the equity holding of the second 5G network provider at all.
This was revealed by Maxis Bhd (KL:MAXIS) in a bourse filing after the telco, together with YTL Power International Bhd (KL:YTLPOWR) and CelcomDigi Bhd (KL:CDB), completed their respective share sale agreement which they inked to take up a 14% stake each in DNB.
