Happening now, a popular restaurant in Middletown has now opened a second location in downtown Dayton. We first reported on MZ Jade's Soul Food paying off lunch debt for Lebanon Elementary School NEWS CENTER 7th. Taylor Robertson is live on West 3rd St. in Dayton and Taylor, I know you talked to the owner who said business is good. I did Cheryl and it smells like hometown Arkansas cooking inside of these doors and it makes sense because the owner of Miss Jade's Soul Food is from Arkansas and she told me that all of the recipes are passed down from her grandma. And she's expect she's excited to bring them to Dayton. We've reported on several stores and restaurants leaving the downtown Dayton area. Niacia Thomason told me the Dayton community are huge supporters of her restaurant. Many of them making the trip to Middletown where her original restaurant sits. So they're hoping to have huge success here on West 3rd St. These owners know about giving back. In September, Thomason paid off the student lunch debt for Donovan Elementary School students so every kid could participate in ice cream. Friday, school Staffs had sent an e-mail to parents saying if their debt wasn't paid off, they couldn't have ice cream. So Thomas had did what she thought was right and the community thanked her by showing up to her spot to eat. Now I got two more communities to be there for. I love dating today. Love me always say Are they one of my biggest supporters? Thomason told me that she likes this location because Dayton is a growing area and she wants to grow the restaurant. She plans on opening another location in Cincinnati. For now, we're live in Dayton. Taylor Robertson NEWS CENTER 7.
