Report: Senators not expected to qualify Erik Brannstrom
Erik Brannstrom is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
According to the Ottawa Sun’s Bruce Garrioch, the Ottawa Senators aren’t extending a qualifying offer to Brannstrom to retain his rights for free agency.
The 24-year-old defenceman was acquired by Ottawa in the trade that sent Mark Stone to the Vegas Golden Knights in 2019.
