‘The Masked Singer SA’: All the celebrities unmasked ahead of final
Season two of The Masked Singer South Africa draws to end this Saturday (29 June) with the finale airing on S3 at 18:30, who are all the celebrities who were unmasked so far?
‘THE MASKED SINGER SA’ FINALE
12 weeks later and The Masked Singer South Africa season two finale will air on Saturday 29 June on S3 (formerly SABC 3) at 18:30. Holly Rey, who hid under the mask of Lollipop was the winner of The Masked Singer South Africa season one, and now it’s also time for the season two winner to be announced.
South African media personality Mpho Popps hosted both season one and season two. J’Something from Micasa, Somizi Mhlongo, Skhumba Hlophe and Sithelo Shozi almost reprised their roles as the detectives on season two.
Media personality Anele Mdoda, co-owner of Rose and Oaks Media, previously said that this season as going to see the biggest of South African celebrities take to The Masked Singer stage.
“The clues are going to be much harder. In fact, everything is bigger, better, and more spectacular this season. South Africa is going to be blown away by the dazzling costumes, themed episodes, energetic performances of popular songs, and calibre of personalities bringing their A-game to win the coveted Golden Mask trophy. We’re talking mega-megastars – from world-famous sports figures – maybe even a World Cup winner – to globally recognizable faces,” said Mdoda in a statement.
There are still four remaining cloak-and-dagger singers who will battle it out to win the Golden Mask trophy: Blue Crane, Owl, Giraffe and Gold. Of course this means all the masks will be revealed on The Masked Singer South Africa finale.

Jimmy Nevis, among other celebrities mentioned that The Masked Singer SA set is so secretive, that even the driver that fetches you doesn’t know who you are.
“Even the driver that picks you up doesn’t know who you are. So, I think I was taken aback by just how much secrecy is involved off screen. And it’s just really cool that this whole thing plays through to everyone. So, even your production crew are surprised when people get unmasked,” said Jimmy Nevis exclusively to The South African.
While other celebrities mentioned that the crew is also unaware of celebrities under the masks.
