Caitlin Clark Logo Three Against Storm Wows Internet
Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark broke the internet with a logo three against the Storm on Thursday.
In the first quarter, Clark drained a 31-foot three from the tip of Seattle's mid-court logo off an assist from guard Erica Wheeler.
The NCAA's all-time leading scorer had 15 points on 4-of-9 shooting, including 3-of-7 from deep, in the Fever's 89-77 loss to the Storm.
Clark is no stranger to long-range threes. That's in large part what turned into a household name.
On June 13, StatMamba shared that Clark's averaged three-point distance this season (28.04 feet) is longer than the highest single-season average for NBAers Trae Young, Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry.
"Oh she's good," commented one poster.
"Makes it look easy ROTY," declared another.
"MY GOAT. She’s feeling it let’s goooo," proclaimed an excited fan.
"I will never get tired of seeing a Caitlin Clark logo 3," confessed another.
Per Across the Timeline, Clark's 54 made threes are the most through a player's first 19 games since Ruthie Bolton drained 61 in 1997.
