To which Congress parties Jayaram Ramesh has taken a dig and said that he should walk the talk as actions will speak louder than words. So this is the war of words that has erupted between Congress parties Jayaram Ramesh and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. CNN News Eighteens Parli Mehta is now joining us on the story pile just ahead of the parliamentary session of war of words has now erupted between Jayaram Ramesh and Kiren Rijiju. In which Jayaram Ramesh has taken a dig at the Parliamentary Affairs Minister. Well, the Parliament Affairs Minister obviously Kiren Rijiju over here very excited because this is his first occasion as the Parliamentaries of Affairs Minister in the 18th Lok Sabha. Today is the first day of the 18th Lok Sabha. Therefore, he was congratulating all those members who are going to coming in, be coming and will be taking oath etcetera. But of course Jayaram Ramesh has cautioned him, told him to, you know just prove it in words but prove it in action also that you know he wants everybody to come together and work together for the country. But of course, Kiren Riju is also hit back at Jairan Rish essentially said that you know he can expect cooperation from the government at the same time the government will expect cooperation from him. So you can expect a lot of fireworks on the first day itself. Given the fact that the opportunity parties want answers from the government on issues like neat and net exam fiasco, they are obviously want to corner the government on why Suresh was not made the proto speaker despite the fact that he's the senior member of parliament. He's the 8th member of parliament. But the logic that the government really gave is that Bhartori Mata for 7th term Parliament, Member of Parliament was Bhartori Mataab had consecutively won all his elections. So that's the argument which was given by the government. But that is not being bought by the opposition parties. And that's the reason Shuddhi Pandupad Daai K Suresh from the Congress Party and of course TR Balu who were all part of the team of you know, team of MPs who were meant to assist the pro term speaker Bhartori Mataab have refused to sit on the chair. They refused to take oath as a pro term speaker panel. So that's that's where the fireworks have already begun. As far as Parliament session is concerned. Today is day one and this entire Parliament session will be mostly around MPs taking oath, the Lok Sabha Speakers election and of course, followed by the Presidential address. Alright, Payal, please stay with us. We also have our senior editor Pallavi Ghosh on the story. Pallavi. So just ahead of the parliamentary session, the war of words has erupted between Jayaram Ramesh and Kirendra Jidu. Shortly after Jayaram Ramesh took a dig at Kirendra Jidu, he also hit back saying that he's looking forward to cooperation from the opposition. In fact, he's also looking to a quote, UN quote, positive contribution from the opposition. Well, I mean, and at the core of Jayaram Ramesh, his responses to the Parliamentary affairs minister, because this started early this morning when when Kiran Rijiju put out a tweet and we talked about cooperation because Parliament is the owners of the smooth running of the government of the Parliament, of course, rests on the treasury bench, which is on the government side. And the Parliamentary Affairs Minister over the last few days that you may have noticed, has been reaching out to almost every opposition leaders, going on to meet the Congress President, Leader of the Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, Mr. Mallikarjun Kargi, and making the point repeatedly that we are ready to debate and discuss every issue, but we all need to put our heads together. I think that's pretty much what the Prime Minister is also going to be saying roughly around 10:00 AM when he gives his usual bite at the market war inside the Parliament. But having said that, why did Jayaram Ramesh react the way he did? Well, that's the cynicism which the India bloc seems to be having. They feel and they believe that this government believes in violating all the parliamentary norms and conventions. Repeatedly referring to the last session before the Lok Sabha elections that several laws were passed without even taking the opposition parties on board, a record number of opposition MPs being suspended. But today, the opposition thinks and believes differently. They feel that their time has come. They think its there Chidin inside the Parliament, first Muha Moitro comes back, Smriti Iranis been defeated, The BJP is not got a simple majority. The Congress itself notched up around hundred seats. The India bloc itself has done well and they feel that we are going to be like the watchdog on the government which has can't regard for parliamentary norms. And that's why that's naib at the Parliamentary Affairs Minister that its all very well to say so, but you have to walk the talk, you have to take the opposition along. But the beginning has not been auspicious. According to opposition parties. The Pro Tem speaker is not someone from the opposition rank which is K Suresh but Mehta, which again is seen as a violation on the parliamentary norms. Which is why Anjali they've decided not to sit on the speakers chair despite the fact that they are expected to assist Mr. Bhatindu Mehta as a Pro Tem speaker to giving the oath. I think this is the first step which has been taken, which is a clear indication of the days to come. Alright, Pallavi and Payal, please stay with us. We're getting some more inputs on this story.
