Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ showcased a remarkable performance at the box office on the first day of its release, earning Rs 95.3 crore in India. This Telugu sci-fi action drama faced a 60 percent dip in its collections on the second day in Telugu-speaking regions. However, recent reports suggest that the movie made a significant comeback on day 3, being a weekend.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk.com, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ earned around Rs 57.6 crore across India on Day 2 (June 28) for all languages. Specifically, the Telugu version garnered Rs 28.85 crore, compared to Rs 65.8 crore on June 27.

On Day 3, the Telugu version of the movie earned Rs 32.25 crore in theaters, bringing the total collection from all languages in India to Rs 67.1 crore, marking a remarkable increase from the previous day.

The film reportedly crossed a staggering Rs 163 crore globally on its opening day. With ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ regaining momentum on the first day of the weekend, chances are high for even higher numbers on the upcoming Sunday.
