Pundit says Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich could become “special” pairing with Declan Rice at Arsenal
The future of Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich is up in the air and one of the potential destinations for the midfielder / right-back is Arsenal FC.
Former Gunners defender William Gallas thinks that the Germany international would be the perfect replacement for Thomas Partey and a great complimentary player to Declan Rice in Arsenal’s central midfield.
“Joshua Kimmich is the perfect replacement for Thomas Partey. He can also play in midfield and right-back and I think if he signs for Arsenal he will play in the middle,” Gallas told Gambling Zone. “He has the quality and experience to add a lot to Arsenal. He will need to adapt to the Premier League and I think he has the quality to do it - given what he’s done for Bayern in his career. Kimmich is technically very good and him in a midfield with Rice could be something special for Arsenal.”
A report this week indicated that Bayern Munich is not planning to use Kimmich in the central midfield moving forward, which could affect his decision on whether or not he wants to stay in Bavaria.
Will Bayern Munich be a better team without Kimmich? We might soon find out.
