Tension on Russian television. Kremlin favourite criticised Putin

A clash occurred on Russian television between the Kremlin's biggest media favourite, Vladimir Solovyov, and General Yevgeny Buzhinsky. The propagandist, on the air of the Rossiya 1 channel, criticised Vladimir Putin's lack of response to Ukrainian attacks in Russia.

Much of the information provided by Russian media or state representatives is propaganda. Such reports are part of the information war waged by the Russian Federation.

A clash occurred between host Vladimir Solovyov and General Yevgeny Buzhinsky during one of the most famous Russian programmes. Putin’s media favourite, visibly upset, questioned Buzhinsky about the lack of response to Ukrainian attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation through the use of tactical nuclear weapons.

- Putin presented our stance that there is still no need for preemptive or demonstrative strikes. We will have to use it, but only if something extraordinary happens from the point of view of our state's existence - explained General Buzhinsky.

However, this answer did not satisfy the propagandist. Solovyov was outraged by the restraint in the actions of the army. - How will we know when something extraordinary happens? Previously, the attack on Belgorod and the death of civilians would have been something extraordinary. What is extraordinary today? A drone attack on the Kremlin happened relatively recently. Wasn't that extraordinary? - he retorted. According to him, Russia should have decided to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine long ago.

The military man, however, did not let emotions get the better of him and calmly explained that the nuclear doctrine of the Russian Federation allows the use of such weapons in cases of "strikes on government and military bodies that hinder retaliatory measures."

Solovyov's troubles

The International Federation for Human Rights and the Kharkiv Human Rights Group recently called for the International Criminal Court to launch an investigation against Vladimir Solovyov.

It was reported that documents had already been sent to the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, demonstrating that the Russian propagandist should be charged with inciting hatred in the public domain.
