Judo Bank Chief Economic Adviser Warren Hogan believes there is “around 60-70 per cent probability” the Reserve Bank will raise rates in August.

Australia’s inflation rate rose from 3.6 per cent to 4 per cent in May.
“It’s a very high probability. I think it’s around 60-70 per cent probability they’ll go in August,” Mr Hogan told Sky News Australia.
“The RBA’s not going to do this unless they absolutely have to.”
